Winter fun

Today we went to Ski Vorlage which is a little ski hill in Wakefield. Compared to the hills that I learned to ski on, the entire hill is a bunny hill, but for the area it's a nice family hill. They really cater to families and it was fun to walk around.

Why were we there? Obviously it wasn't for Max's first ski lesson. We went for Ella's fifth birthday party. It was fun. Mere and Ron had invited a few of Ella's friend's and their families to go skiing for the day. Mere made sandwiches and veggies and an awesome cake: Polly Pocket Ariel on a downhill ski slope! It rocked. They skied, ate and then skied some more. We went for the cake and then watched Ella and Duncan come down the slope. Oh did I mention that Duncan is 2!

There was a little hill that we could push Max down in his sled and he just loved it. Both Marty and I were excited that in a couple of years we could be the ones coming down the bunny hill with Max in tow.
